HAVE YOUR SAY AND NEXT STEPS

We have submitted our Outline Business Case to the national New Hospitals Programme for feedback and are waiting for confirmation of next steps. Once this has happened, we will be able to reaffirm our programme delivery timelines, including our target date for planning application submission. We look forward to sharing our updated designs and plans with you soon.

We still want to hear your views on the initial designs for the new hospital and car park though, as it is essential in helping us to shape our proposals. You can contact the consultation team via the details below.

First phase of consultation and FAQ document

We had over 80 people sign up across our webinars and we are very grateful for all the insightful feedback and engaged questions we received during these events. We managed to get through most of these covering a broad range of different topics and themes, and we hope everyone who attended found the events helpful.

In addition, 174 of you completed a survey and 40 reached out by phone, post or email. We were also grateful to meet with a number of residents organisations and community stakeholders.

During the consultation, we received a number of questions which required detailed answers and further follow up. Our project team have since reviewed these questions and drafted an FAQs document which seeks to answer the most commonly asked of these questions, while noting that some of the technical work is still ongoing and there will be further information to come when we return for a second phase of consultation later this year.

You can read the questions and answers in our FAQ page on the consultation website here.
